German is the official language in Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland and has official status in Belgium and Luxembourg. Naturally people in each country have their own preferences in terms of spelling, terminology and sentence construction.
My knowledge of German
German is my native language. I was born in Germany, and I attended kindergarten, primary and secondary school, as well as university in Germany.
From August 2002 to July 2003, I was engaged as foreign expert to teach two classes of Chinese students in German conversation, grammar, listening skills and cultural studies.
